Five For Friday

We are headed to Pittsburgh for the weekend and I still need to pack and get the car loaded by noon so this is going to be short and sweet today!
This is the last chance to enter my giveaway for my Math Workshop product from the March Blogger Matchup.  If you would like to win a free copy, click the picture below and enter the rafflecopter.  The giveaway ends on Saturday.  I'll post and email the winner Sunday or Monday when we get home.

I got a few products uploaded this week.  I'm going to blog more about the States and Capital task cards and how I used them with the 4th grader that I tutor.

I loved THIS watercolor cross project that I found at Mrs. Ehle's Kindergarten Connection.  I decided to try it out with my religious ed class this week and it was a success!!  I don't normally paint with them because we have such a short time together each week plus it isn't my classroom so storage and clean up can be a problem.  I wanted to do this project so badly that I made it work and the kids were great.  Their pictures didn't come out as bold as the examples that I saw and the ones that I tried but they still look great.  Liquid watercolors are awesome.  They can definitely stain your hands and make more of a mess than the little watercolor cases but the colors are more intense and it dries really fast.

I've spent a good part of the week emailing back and forth with Jennifer from A Dab of Glue Will Do.  We are working on a big giveway that is going to go live on Instagram in a few weeks.  We are shooting for the weekend after Easter.  There will be chances to win two $150 Target gift cards.  So awesome and I wish I could enter!!!!  Follow me on Instagram (@SaraJCreations) to see more details as the giveaway gets closer
Last weekend I took K to see Cinderella.  It was her first movie at a theater.  It was a little long for her with all the back story information in there but once it got rolling she loved it.  We have used the line Have Courage and Be Kind all week long to help remind her how to treat others.  Such a good message and a cute movie.  And I probably cried.
