Catholic Saints Videos on YouTube

I am passionate about finding ways to make teaching the Catholic faith more relevant and modern for kids.  Even though the lives of the Saints are historical facts that haven't changed through time, we can still present the material in a more modern way to capture their attention.  That is one of the reasons I love using picture books to teach about the Saints.  I've also found several short videos on YouTube that show a representation of some of the Saints' lives.  Here are 10 of my favorites.
10 Catholic Saint videos that you can find easily on YouTube. Cute introduction to the Saints for kids.

Start here as a great overview for the process of becoming a Saint.  This might be over the heads of really young learners but would be completely appropriate for most elementary and even middle school students.  It is not specific to any one Saint, but rather an overall explanation of the process.

The other nine videos are specific to certain Saints.  These would be great as an intro to a specific Saint that you are studying about in class.  It could also be a supplemental resource after students have read about or researched that specific Saint.  You could always watch it to celebrate each Saint's feast day.  I like that all of these are short, quick, animated videos.

Another great place to look for animated videos about specific saints is the YouTube Channel Christian Kids TV. They include lots of different saints in their Stories of Saints for Kids series.
